Metatitle.org

Metatitle.org is an open platform for authors, publishers, readers and others with an interest in published titles. Metatitle.org is the creator and owner of the concept of metatitles, a completely new way of looking at books and book data. Metatitles come in 3 varieties:

  • Metatitle
   This is both the name of the concept and a web application (html) about a title.
  • Metabook
 This is the e-book (Epub or Mobi) version of a metatitle (xhtml).
  • Metabox
 This is a metatitle/metabook with multiple titles e.g. all titles of an author or titles about a specific subject.

Each variety of a metatitle is a container of elements and has his own identifier which is based on EAN/ISBN.
